Hi,
today I was hit by debian bug #311812 (http://bugs.debian.org/311812).
If a syslog daemon gets restartet not all postfix processes reconnect to
the syslog daemon, which produced some data loss here. This problem is very
hard to find as some other, short living processes, are still logging...
In my eyes processes like the qmgr should reconnect to the syslog daemon to
prevent data loss.
If this bug is already fixed I'm sorry, but I was not able to find anything
about it in the changelog.
Are there any fixes or patches for this problem?
Thanks in advance
Alex
