Now I remember - there was a third party app that I had found to do
this, but our requirements changed, so we never pulled the trigger...
It is commercial, but it looks really nice, was very reasonably priced,
and did a lot more than just strip attachments... and it has a free
trial, so you can see if it will work for you.
