     masquerade_domains = lightlink.com
     masquerade_exceptoins = root

     seems to fit the bill and duplicates the old sendmail
quite nicely.

     I notice however that if I USE sendmail to send an e-mail as
root, the exception is not honored in the LOGGING in /var/log/mail..

     sendmail homerlightlink.com < /root/.login

     is LOGGED in /var/log/mail as coming from rootlightlink.com,

     rather than rootadore2.lightlink.com, the mail however is
delivered properly with the exception in place.
