The amount of spam you get is unrelated to which MTA you are running.
Merely switching MTAs will not improve the situation. MTAs are
principally designed to transport mail safely, so refusing messages to
valid recipients usually requires extra effort.

Fighting spam effectively requires a multilayered approach. There are
many opportunities along the path to identify unwanted messages, and the
techniques differ accordingly. Some are external to the MTA, some are
builtin, and some use provided hooks. As a first step, you should
provide the output of postconf -n, and let experienced members of the
list provide tips for optimizing your configuration. A few select
builtins, expressions, and RBLs could have an immediate and dramatic
impact on the amount of spam you accept for delivery, and can be
important in reducing the amount of resources you need to apply to more
complex solutions like content inspection and virus filtering.
