Postfix doesn't need to run on the SA box. It could be anywhere, so you
could certainly configure the remote server to use whichever instance of
SA you wish.

However unless you're running over a VPN or have bulletproof IP
filtering, I'd be very uncomfortable exposing SA on a public interface.
