I am now having trouble sending mail to a domain that I am also backup mx for.
as port 25 outbound is blocked, I route with a relayhost, but for the domain I
am backup mx for, I have the following in my transport file:
example.com smtp:[mail.example.com]:24
This was working for some time? I can send mail via 'telnet mail.example.com 24' w/o
issue. I am stumped to figure out what to look at to deduce what could cause this?
Maillog has this:
Nov 19 14:50:59 mail postfix/smtp[14229]: 7C38068134: to=<xxxx
example.com>, relay=aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd[aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd]:24, delay=173829, delays=173525/0/0.06/304, dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (lost connection with aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd[aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd] while sending message body)
Where else should I look, and does anyone see anything technically wrong so far?
Thanks!
jlc
