As for the transaction log. I'm not sure how one can get that when using php's mail() function to send a message. I don't see any obvious answers through google.

I believe that's something that SLES/YaST put in there. I may have forgot to mention that this is Postfix That file only has the default comments, which looks like the man page, in it.

This also had just the default comments. This mail server is only being used to send mail from the anti-virus alerts to our support staff.
