DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in ARMIDA, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on a
vulnerable web server.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of overly
long HTTP requests. This can be exploited by sending a 500,000
character long request, which causes the web service to consume 88% -
90% CPU resources.

Example:
http://[victim]/AAAA...[500,000]...AAAA

SOLUTION:
Use another web server, or filter long requests in a HTTP proxy or
firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
