Red Hat update for wget

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA10404

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://www.secunia.com/advisories/10404/

CRITICAL:
Less critical

IMPACT:
DoS, System access

WHERE:
From remote

OPERATING SYSTEM:
RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 2.1
RedHat Enterprise Linux ES 2.1
RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 2.1
RedHat Linux Advanced Server 2.1 for Itanium
RedHat Linux Advanced Workstation 2.1 for Itanium

DESCRIPTION:
Red Hat has issued updated packages for wget. These fix an older
vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a
DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling
of URLs. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by
supplying a long URL (more than 256 characters).

Successful exploitation may potentially result in arbitrary code
execution, though this has not been proven.

SOLUTION:
Updated packages are only available via Red Hat Network.
