VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/11913/

CRITICAL:
Less critical

IMPACT:
DoS

WHERE:
From local network

OPERATING SYSTEM:
Netgear FVS318

DESCRIPTION:
Paul Kurczaba has reported a security issue in Netgear FVS318, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The issue is caused due to an error in the connection handling, which
can be exploited to block legitimate access to the administrative web
interface by establishing 7 connections. This prevents further
connections to be established.

SOLUTION:
Allow only trusted IP addresses to connect to administrative
interfaces.
