DESCRIPTION:
Ziv Kamir has reported a vulnerability in Shuttle FTP Suite, which
can be exploited by malicious people to read or place files in
arbitrary locations on a vulnerable system.

The problem is that arguments passed to certain commands aren't
properly verified. This can be exploited to access and write files
outside the FTP root using the classical directory traversal
character sequence "../" or absolute paths.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.2. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Use another product.
