DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in WhatsUp Gold, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the HTTP service when
handling reserved DOS device names. This can be exploited via a HTTP
GET request for a resource with a reserved DOS device name.
Example:
http://[victim]/prn.htm
Successful exploitation crashes the application.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 8.0.3 and 8.0.3 Hotfix
1. Prior versions may also be affected.
NOTE: The web service is not enabled by default.

Apply WhatsUp Gold 8.03 Hotfix 2:
