DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Xpdf, which can be exploited by
malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the
"Decrypt::makeFileKey2()" function. This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow by tricking a user into viewing a
malicious PDF document containing specially crafted values in the
"/Encrypt /Length" tag.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.00. Prior versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.00pl3 or apply patch.
