DESCRIPTION:
Oliver Karow has reported a security issue in Astaro Secure Linux,
which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the HTTP proxy allowing the
CONNECT command to be used to connect to services on the server
(localhost). This can be exploited to bypass firewall rules and
connect to services on the server that are not open for access.

For example:
CONNECT localhost:80 HTTP/1.0

The security issue has been reported in version 6.0.0.1. Prior
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
The security issue has reportedly been fixed in version 6.0.0.2.
