TITLE:
Calendarix Basic SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA18667

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/18667/

CRITICAL:
Moderately critical

IMPACT:
Security Bypass, Manipulation of data

WHERE:
From remote

SOFTWARE:
Calendarix Basic 0.x
http://secunia.com/product/7190/

DESCRIPTION:
Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has discovered two vulnerabilities in Calendarix
Basic, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL
injection attacks.

Input passed to the "catview" parameter in "cal_day.php" and the
"login" parameter in "admin/cal_login.php" isn't properly sanitised
before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 0.6.20050830.
Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
