TITLE:
Time Tracking Software Multiple Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA18854

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/18854/

CRITICAL:
Moderately critical

IMPACT:
Security Bypass, Cross Site Scripting, Manipulation of data

WHERE:
From remote

SOFTWARE:
Time Tracking Software 3.x
http://secunia.com/product/8059/

DESCRIPTION:
Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has reported some vulnerabilities in Time
Tracking Software, which can be exploited by malicious people to
bypass certain security restrictions, and to conduct SQL injection
and script insertion attacks.

1) Missing credential validation in "edituser.php" can be exploited
to modify the data of any users.

2) Input passed to the several unspecified parameters isn't properly
sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

3) Input passed to the UserName field in the Registration Form isn't
properly sanitised before being saved. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.0. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
