DESCRIPTION:
luny has reported some vulnerabilities and a security issue in
E-Dating System, which can be exploited by malicious people to
conduct cross-site scripting and script insertion attacks, and
disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed when posting a message and when updating the profile
isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to
inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a
user's browser session in context of an affected site when the
malicious user data is viewed.

2) Input passed to the "id" parameter in index.php isn't properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

3) The problem is that user information are stored insecurely in the
"files" directory inside the web root.

It is also possible to disclose the full path to the installation by
reading a non-existing message.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
