DESCRIPTION:
Preth00nker has reported a vulnerability in cPanel, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed to the "file" parameter in select.html isn't properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

Example:
http://[host]:2082/frontend/x/files/select.html?dir=/&file=[code]

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy server
or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
