CRITICAL:
Less critical
IMPACT:
Exposure of sensitive information
WHERE:
From remote
SOFTWARE:
Kamikaze-qscm 0.x
http://secunia.com/product/10810/
DESCRIPTION:
DarkFig has discovered a security issue in Kamikaze-qscm, which can
be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The problem is caused due to improper restrictions to config.inc,
which contains the user credentials to access the MySQL database.
Successful exploitation requires that ".inc" is not declared as a php
suffix in httpd.conf.
The security issue has been confirmed in version 0.2. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict web access to "config.inc" (e.g. with a .htaccess file).
