DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Kaillera, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or
potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is due to a boundary error when processing Kaillera
messages. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow
via e.g. an overly long nickname (more than 32 bytes).

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

This vulnerability has been reported in version 0.86. Other versions
