DESCRIPTION:
Tan Chew Keong has reported a vulnerability in Lhaplus, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling
of LZH files. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer
overflow when a specially crafted LZH file is extracted.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code with the
user's privileges.

A potential integer underflow vulnerability has also been reported.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.52. Prior versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.53.
