TITLE:
OpenDock Easy Doc "doc_directory" File Inclusion Vulnerabilities
SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA22334
VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/22334/
CRITICAL:
Highly critical
IMPACT:
System access
WHERE:
From remote
SOFTWARE:
OpenDock Easy Doc 1.x
http://secunia.com/product/12250/
DESCRIPTION:
Dedi Dwianto has reported some vulnerabilities in OpenDock Easy Doc,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
Input passed to the "doc_directory" parameter in various files is not
properly verified before being used to include files. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local
or external resources.
Examples:
http://[host]/sw/lib_up_file/file.php?doc_directory=[file]
http://[host]/sw/lib_comment/comment.php?doc_directory=[file]
http://[host]/sw/lib_find/find.php?doc_directory=[file]
Reportedly more files are affected.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.4. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
