DESCRIPTION:
d3nx has reported a vulnerability in Oracle Application Server 10g,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "table" parameter in servlet/Spy in the Dynamic
Monitoring Services (DMS) is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in an administrative user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in version Oracle Application Server
10g version 10.1.2.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not follow links from untrusted sources.
Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a web proxy.
