DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in eWire Payment Client, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "paymentinfo" argument is not properly sanitised
in ewirepcfunctions.php before being used as a command line argument
in a call to "popen()". This can be exploited to execute arbitrary
shell commands.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 1.60 and 1.70. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
