DESCRIPTION:
fabiodds has reported a vulnerability in Nagios Plugins, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and
potentially to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the
"check_snmp" plugin when processing SNMP GET replies. This can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially
crafted SNMP GET reply.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.4.10.

SOLUTION:
Use only in a trusted network environment.
