DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the NFSv4
client kernel module. This can be exploited to cause all local NFSv4
mounts to become unresponsive by cooperating with a privileged user
from a NFSv4 server.

The vulnerability is reported in Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris systems
where NFSv4 and automountd(1M) are in use.

SOLUTION:
Apply patches.

Apply patch 137111-05 or later.

OpenSolaris:
Fixed in build snv_37 or later.

-- x86 Platform --

Solaris 10:
Apply patch 137112-05 or later.

OpenSolaris:
Fixed in build snv_37 or later.
