DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Fail2ban, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an incorrect regular expression
included in the filter.d/wuftpd.conf file. This can be exploited to
ban legitimate users by making multiple invalid authentication
requests from a specially crafted hostname.

SOLUTION:
Remove the affected wuftpd.conf file.
