CMSCart "MenuLevel1" SQL Injection Vulnerability

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA34175

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/34175/

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in CMSCart, which can be exploited
by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed via the "MenuLevel1" parameter to the
"GetPageTemplateName()" function in maindatafunctions.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

This vulnerability is reported in version 1.04. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
