DESCRIPTION:
AlpHaNiX has discovered a vulnerability in Mini-stream Shadow Stream
Recorder, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
playlist files and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow.

This is related to:
SA34647

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.0.1.7. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted playlists.
