DESCRIPTION:
r0t has reported a vulnerability and a weakness in activeCollab,
which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive
information and conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "re_route" parameter in /login is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user in an error message. This
can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
This can also be exploited to disclose the full installation path of
the application.
The vulnerability and the weakness are reported in version 2.1. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a web proxy.
