TITLE:
ZaoCMS Insecure Cookie Handling and Local File Inclusion

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA35193

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/35193/

DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in ZaoCMS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions
and disclose sensitive information.

1) The application does not properly restrict access to the
administration interface. This can be exploited to bypass the
authentication mechanism and gain access to the administration
control panel by setting the "admin" cookie to "stgAdmin".

2) Input passed to the "Directory" parameter in
"admin/functions/PhpCommander/download.php" is not properly verified
before being used to include files. This can be exploited to download
arbitrary files from local resources.

This may be related to:
SA21753

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to the "admin/" directory (e.g. via .htaccess).
