Microsoft Windows AVI Media File Parsing Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Windows, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

1) An error when parsing AVI file headers can be exploited to corrupt
memory.

2) An integer overflow error when parsing AVI files can be exploited
to corrupt memory.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities may allow execution of
arbitrary code when a user e.g. opens a malicious AVI file or receives
malicious streaming content.
