DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the Altirix eXpress NS SC
Download ActiveX control, which can be exploited by malicious people
to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to the Altiris.AeXNSPkgDL.1 ActiveX
control ("AeXNSPkgDLLib.dll") providing the insecure
"DownloadAndInstall()" method. This can be exploited to download and
execute arbitrary programs by tricking a user into visiting a
malicious website.

The vulnerability is reported in AeXNSPkgDLLib.dll version
6.0.0.1418, included in Symantec Altiris Deployment Solution version
6.9 sp3.

SOLUTION:
Set the kill-bit for the affected ActiveX control.
