DESCRIPTION:
A weakness has been reported in Asterisk, which can be exploited by
malicious people to determine valid usernames.

The problem is that different responses are being sent when using a
valid or an invalid username in REGISTER messages. This can be
exploited to determine valid usernames by sending specially crafted
REGISTER messages.

SOLUTION:
Asterisk Open Source:
Update to version 1.2.35, 1.4.26.3, 1.6.0.17, or 1.6.19 or apply
patches.
