TITLE:
Fedora update for php-pear-Net-Traceroute

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA37503

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/37503/

DESCRIPTION:
Fedora has issued an update for php-pear-Net-Traceroute. This fixes a
vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to
compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to the "Net_Traceroute::traceroute()"
method not properly sanitising the "host" parameter before using it in
an "exec()" call. This can be exploited to inject and execute
arbitrary shell commands.

SOLUTION:
Apply updated packages via the yum utility ("yum update
php-pear-Net-Traceroute").
