Robo-FTP Response Processing Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
The Wee Free Men have discovered a vulnerability in Robo-FTP, which
potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
certain responses from the FTP server. This can be exploited to
overflow a global buffer by e.g. tricking a user into connecting to a
malicious FTP server.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.6.17. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not connect to untrusted FTP servers.
