IRCD-hybrid "LINKS" Command Integer Underflow Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IRCD-hybrid, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and
potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an integer underflow when
processing the "LINKS" command, which can be exploited to cause a
crash or potentially execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 7.2.3. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the SVN repository.
