FileApp FTP Request Processing Denial of Service

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in FileApp (for iPhone / iPod
touch), which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the processing of FTP
requests, which can be exploited to crash the application by sending
an overly-long string to port 2121/TCP.

Successful exploitation requires that the sharing feature is
enabled.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.7. Other versions may also
be affected.

SOLUTION:
Disable the sharing feature.
