DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM WebSphere Portal, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed via the search field within the Portlet Palette is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerability is reported in IBM WebSphere Portal version 6.0.1.5
Build Level wp6015_008_01. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Apply APAR PM05829.
