DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Cisco Security Agent,
which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive
information or conduct SQL injection attacks, and by malicious people
to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) Certain unspecified input passed to the Management Center for
Cisco Security Agents is not properly sanitised before being used.
This can be exploited to download arbitrary files from local
resources via directory traversal attacks.
2) Certain unspecified input passed to the Management Center for
Cisco Security Agents is not properly sanitised before being used in
SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) An unspecified error in Cisco Security Agent when processing TCP
packets can be exploited to crash an affected system.
NOTE: This vulnerability affects both managed and standalone
versions. Please see the vendor's advisory for a list of additional
products which may include the standalone Cisco Security Agent.
