VMware Server 2 WebAccess Two Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
A security issue and a vulnerability have been reported in VMware
Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain
security restrictions or conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) An input sanitation error can be exploited to trigger the
forwarding of incoming web requests to arbitrary locations.
2) Certain unspecified input used when generating JSON error messages
in WebAccess is not properly sanitised before being returned to the
user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability and security issue are reported in version 2.0.
SOLUTION:
Disable WebAccess. Please see the vendor's advisory for additional
information.
