DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in InterPhoto Gallery, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request
forgery attacks.

The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests, without performing any validity checks to verify the
requests. This can be exploited to e.g. change a user's password in
the user section or add an administrative user in the admin section
if a logged-in user visits a specially crafted web site.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.4.0. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that HTTP requests are properly
verified. Do not browse untrusted web sites or follow links from
untrusted sources while being logged-in to the application.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Reported to Secunia by Russ McRee. Independently discovered by John
Leitch.
