DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in sNews, which can be exploited
by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.
The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without properly validating the requests. This can be
exploited to e.g. change the administrator's username and password by
tricking a logged-in administrator into visiting a malicious web
site.
NOTE: This can further be exploited to conduct script insertion
attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.7. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not browse untrusted web sites or follow untrusted links while
being logged-in to the application.
