DESCRIPTION:
n.runs has reported a vulnerability in IBM Notes (formerly IBM Lotus
Notes), which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script
insertion attacks.
Certain input related to email body is not properly sanitised before
being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script
code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of
an affected site if malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerability is reported in version 9.0.
SOLUTION:
A fix is planned by the vendor to be included in 9.0 Interim Fix 1
(please see the vendor's advisory for details).
