Since the incarnation of the Distributed Honeypot Project, I have taken great interest in the ability to emulate operating system aspects through others. However, the only solution to running different OSes simeltaneously is vmware, apparently. Plex86, a project in development, looks promising however it seems it will be quite a while till any stable releases are made. So, in the meantime for those of us with little or no funding for our projects, has anyone sucessfully implemented ways to effectively fake operating envrionments on any platforms? Could there be a way to use linux's WINE to run windows "inside"?
