I noticed that in the uml docs. I'm pretty network ignorant so can you
    tell me what that does?

I took a look at that when you first wrote it and it looked like it
should have done the trick. However, I had some problems with uml not
setting up the interfaces automatically on my system, so I ended up
getting frustrated with the script and just tried out doing things
manually. I'm putting together a script of my own that suits my
purposes a bit better (e.g. seperate honeypots with different
functionality i.e. not sharing a single filesystem). I can put a copy on
    the web if anyone's interested.

    Thanks for your help.

    Cheers,
    Geoff
