Symantec recently merged with Axent. Axent do provide an IDS solution so
obviously will have some employees with a degree of experience in IDS.

Looking at Axents IDS offerings, they sound like pretty significant
products (on paper at least - I haven't been able to perform any real
testing on them yet). I recently had a rep from Axent give me a run down on
their product range.
