Having used and ran their products through test labs, you are right in
saying that their products look REALLY good on PAPER.

I personally would pit a few open source IDS/NIDS against those of AXENT,
but then people buy commercial products primarily due to the lack of
expertise in configuring and maintaining open source systems.

If you look at it that way as are the better of the Commercial Brands, of
the ones I have tested I'd say that they are.
