    If this is a Catalyst 4000 and above ....

    set span <VLAN> or <Monitored Port> <destination module/port> both

    so if you wanted to monitor vlan 211 on Module 5, port 3 you would type...

    " set span disable <enter> " <---- Type this first, some versions of CAT
    code will disable the destination port
    " set span 211 5/3 both <enter>"
