Hi everyone,

this is my first message, I hope u'll understand my poor english.

I've got a SCO Unix with samba, and Samba delegates password authentication
to a NT Server (SP 6) acting as PDC on the network.

This is the problem: I've got a user that is working with a program that
acces the share correctly (it sends user and password of NT to the samba
server), but sometimes he gets an error when trying to connect to the share.
When we check is NT account we see that is blocked, because NT accounts get
blocked when the user fails 4 times the pass.

As long as I understand, samba only checks the user password with the NT
PDC, so this should'nt block the account. But on the other hand the user is
working with is NT account (so it's no blocked when he logs in), and if he
runs that program then the account gets blocked.

        When everything is correct:

        When we get an error:

                password server SERVER1 rejected the password.
